HARRISBURG – Attorney General Dave Sunday announced charges against a Murrysville Medic One employee accused of using a communal workplace computer to access and store child sexual abuse material, including AI-generated files depicting children.

Gregory Kelley, 31, a full-time wheelchair van driver for Murrysville Medic One, was arrested and charged with numerous felonies following an investigation by the Office of Attorney General’s Child Predator Section and the Murrysville Police Department.

Bail was set at $75,000. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 26.

“This conduct is deeply disturbing as it involves someone who is supposed to be helping children and adults in their community,” Attorney General Sunday said. “Anyone who exploits and victimizes children in this manner will be pursued aggressively and can expect to be held accountable.”

According to investigators, the communal computers at Medic One are intended for employees to complete computerized charting, incident reports and other work-related duties. The investigation began after an employee opened a Google Chrome browser on one of the shared computers and discovered Kelley’s email account was still logged in. The employee observed files containing child sexual abuse material and immediately reported it to their employer.

Investigators determined the files included both child sexual abuse material and AI-generated child sexual abuse material.

The Office of Attorney General’s Child Predator Section assisted the Murrysville Police Department with the investigation.

The case will be prosecuted by the Office of Attorney General’s Child Predator Section. Criminal charges, and any discussion thereof, are merely allegations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
