HARRISBURG — Attorney General Dave Sunday, along with Pennsylvania State Police and Dauphin County law enforcement partners, announced the takedown of a drug-trafficking ring distributing methamphetamine, fentanyl and other drugs, as well as firearms.

This week, the Office of Attorney General filed charges against five individuals, following a long-term investigation that revealed drug-dealing activities in Dauphin, Blair, Cumberland, and Clinton counties.

Charged with felony drug trafficking and related offenses are:

Marcus A. Denson, Jovar Hairston, Larry Minnifield, Alisha Massa, and Gregory Johnson.

Denson is also charged with trafficking firearms, including at least one “ghost gun.”

Massa and Johnson were arrested Wednesday. Efforts are ongoing to take the other three defendants into custody.

“This criminal network directly contributed to the distribution of poisons that ravage families and communities, and made illegal transfers of firearms that threaten the sanctity of neighborhoods,” Attorney General Sunday said. “With our partners, over time, we constructed cases against all the defendants and effectively shut down this network with very serious charges.”

During the course of the investigation, officials seized six firearms and surveilled numerous sales of fentanyl, methamphetamine, and other drugs involving the five charged.

Denson is prohibited from possessing firearms due to a prior felony conviction.

The cases will be prosecuted by the Office of Attorney General’s Drug Strike Force Section. Criminal charges, and any discussion thereof, are merely allegations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
