Office of Attorney General Website is Back Online; Work Continues on Email and Phone Lines

HARRISBURG — Attorney General Dave Sunday announced that the Office of Attorney General’s website — www.attorneygeneral.gov — is back online and near full-functionality.

The website rebooted live early Wednesday afternoon, with some outages on home improvement contractor registration/information pages. Separately, Pennsylvanians can file complaints and they are being received; however, there may be some delays with processing.

The work continues to restore OAG email and land phone lines.

“The Office of Attorney General continues to work 24/7 as we have since our online presence and communications channels went down. We are pleased to have a key tool to connect with constituents — our website — back up and running,” Attorney General Sunday said. “Our work continues and we are hopeful for further progress. The work and mission of the Office of Attorney General endure.”

Throughout the week, the work of the Office of Attorney General has continued unabated. We are grateful for our law enforcement partners, the courts, and other stakeholders for their cooperation and understanding.

This week, Attorney General Sunday announced a $200 million deposit reached the Commonwealth’s general fund for budgetary purposes — that sum being the result of the Office of Attorney General prevailing in a years-long legal battle; following a standoff in Venango County, agents took into custody a man charged with possession of child sexual abuse material; and efforts continued to arrest all defendants charged in a million-dollar vehicle title-washing scheme.

Additionally, a scam warning was issued to consumers shopping for back-to-school items, and OAG managers received training on maximizing work efficiency and staff retention.

We will continue to provide updates to the public.
