HARRISBURG — Attorney General Dave Sunday announced that a Perry County man was sentenced to 65½ to 131 years in prison for physically and sexually abusing four children over several decades.

A Perry County jury convicted 55-year-old Andrew Allamon in October of several counts of rape, unlawful contact with minor, and sexual assault, indecent assault of child, and endangering the welfare of a child after a four-day trial.

A Perry County Judge ordered the sentence on Tuesday.

“This defendant no longer presents a threat to anyone in our communities, as this sentence ensures he will be behind bars for the rest of his life,” Attorney General Sunday said. “We hope the survivors who bravely testified at trial can take solace from this outcome and continue moving on with their lives.”

According to evidence presented by the Office of Attorney General, Allamon used a pocket knife during sex acts and in other apparent acts of cruelty. If they did not comply with these acts he would beat them, or force them to do cruel punishments.

This case was prosecuted by Senior Deputy Attorneys General Lauren Eichelberger and Julianne Danchak.
