HARRISBURG – Attorney General Dave Sunday is urging customers of Easton-based car-subscription companies — Your Cause Auto Inc. and Your Cause Auto Services LLC — to contact the Bureau of Consumer Protection amid our office’s review of numerous consumer complaints.
The Bureau of Consumer Protection has received complaints from current and former customers of the Your Cause Auto companies regarding a vehicle subscription program.
Shawn Pail, the former owner of the Your Cause Auto companies, recently filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, which could impact who owns the vehicles under the subscription program.
Anyone currently driving or in possession of a vehicle obtained through Your Cause Auto Inc. or Your Cause Auto Services LLC, should contact the Bureau of Consumer Protection at 1-888-441-2555.
“Our office is committed to protecting consumers who may have been harmed by a recent bankruptcy action,” Attorney General Sunday said. “All customers of Your Cause Auto should take steps to ensure who is the owner of the vehicle they are driving, and what solutions could fit their situation.”
The Bureau of Consumer Protection believes that customers of Your Cause Auto are primarily based in Lehigh and Northampton counties, including Allentown, Bethlehem, and Easton areas. Customers may have also interacted with a business partner named Michael Solomon.
Customers of the Your Cause Auto companies should confirm who is the current owner of their vehicle to determine the status of their payments, insurance coverage, and their ability to get their vehicles inspected.
Consumers who had dealings with these businesses – including interactions with Your Cause Auto Inc., Your Cause Auto Services LLC, Shawn Pail, or Michael Solomon – and file complaints online or by calling the Bureau of Consumer Protection at 1-888-441-2555.
