HARRISBURG — Attorney General Dave Sunday announced four arrests, along with seizures of crack cocaine, methamphetamine and firearms, in connection with shutting down this week a drug-trafficking location in Johnstown.
On Wednesday, Office of Attorney General agents and law enforcement partners served search warrants at 213 D Street, and seized drugs and firearms, while arresting Deion Johnson, 28; Humza Mitchell, 22; Carlton Bryant Jr., 28; and Aaliyah Allevato, 21.
The defendants are charged with felony drug trafficking offenses. Johnson is also charged with illegal possession of a firearm.
All four were arraigned Wednesday night when bail was set at $250,000 apiece.
“This home was a drug-trafficking hub for Johnstown — until our agents and partners shut it down this week,” Attorney General Sunday said. “Arrests and seizures like this are very significant in smaller communities like Johnstown, and we will continue to target traffickers in every part of the Commonwealth.”
The Office of Attorney General was assisted by the FBI, Johnstown Police Department, Richland Township Police Department, Cambria County detectives, and Cambria County Drug Task Force.
Seized from the home were:
- Three firearms — a Springfield XD, .45 Caliber handgun, a Glock 43X, 9mm handgun, and a Glock 45V, 9mm handgun
- Approximately 92.69 grams of crack cocaine (estimated street value of $9,200)
- Approximately 12.74 grams of methamphetamine
- Approximately 98.32 grams of marijuana
- Approximately 3.93 grams of cocaine
- Approximately 5.64 grams of psilocybin mushrooms
- 11 suspected ecstasy pills
- 58 various opiate pills
- $10,123 in cash
The cases will be prosecuted by the Cambria County District Attorney’s Office. Criminal charges, and any discussion thereof, are merely allegations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
