HARRISBURG — Attorney General Dave Sunday announced that a Northampton County man will serve 18 to 36 years in state prison for possessing child sexual abuse material — his second such conviction.
A Northampton County Judge also deemed 63-year-old Kenneth Force a “sexually violent predator.” The judge’s determination subjects Force to stricter conditions, treatment, and requirements, which include that he register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
The Office of Attorney General’s Child Predator Section responded to a cyber tip regarding a Google user uploading child sexual abuse material. Agents traced the materials to Force’s home in Mt. Bethel, where electronic devices were seized and examined.
“This individual repeatedly exploited and abused children by viewing these materials for his own gratification. The only appropriate recourse is a sentence that renders him incapable of that conduct,” Attorney General Sunday said. “I commend the proactive work of our agents and attorneys for building a case that resulted in this conviction.”
Force pleaded guilty in January to several felony offenses.
While executing a search warrant at Force’s home in 2023, agents seized electronic devices, including a computer tower that contained dozens of files containing child sexual abuse material.
The case was prosecuted by Senior Deputy Attorney General Michelle Laucella of the Child Predator Unit.
