HARRISBURG — Attorney General Dave Sunday announced that an Adams County man has pleaded guilty and will serve 12 to 30 years in prison for sexual abuse of two children more than a decade ago.

Gary Lee Huff, 47, was scheduled for trial this week, but entered guilty pleas Monday morning to rape of a child and several related offenses.

Adams County Senior Judge Michael A. George accepted the guilty pleas and agreed-upon sentence of 12 to 30 years in state prison.

“This defendant preyed on our most vulnerable citizens — children who were just entering school age — and, now, many years later, he has been held accountable,” Attorney General Dave Sunday said. “Sexual deviance has no place in our society, and my office will continue to proactively pursue predators who harm children.”

At the time of the abuse, between 2011 and 2013, Huff had close relationships that allowed him access to both victims.

In all, he pleaded guilty to rape of a child, aggravated indecent assault of a child, corruption of minors, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, and two counts of indecent assault — all felonies — and two counts of misdemeanor indecent exposure.

He will be formally sentenced on March 19, 2026.

The case was prosecuted by Deputy Attorney General Julia Van Leeuwen and Senior Deputy Attorney General Lauren Eichelberger.
