HARRISBURG – Attorney General Dave Sunday announced felony drug trafficking charges against three individuals following an investigation in Blair County that resulted in the seizure of significant quantities of methamphetamine, heroin, fentanyl and crack cocaine.
Lindsey Longenecker, 42, of Queen, Corey “Ghost” Hilario, 38, of Allentown, and Shawnta Cormon, 45, of Allentown, were arrested this week after coordinated traffic stops in Altoona tied to an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.
Bail was set at $400,000 for Hilario, $300,000 for Longenecker, and $250,000 for Carmon.
“Every pound of methamphetamine, every bag of heroin or fentanyl, and every ounce of crack cocaine taken off our streets represent lives saved and communities improved,” Attorney General Sunday said. “These drugs are poison, and my office will continue working alongside our law enforcement partners to identify traffickers, dismantle these operations and keep dangerous drugs out of our communities.”
According to the investigation, law enforcement observed two vehicles meeting in the parking lot of a Burger King near Pleasant Valley Boulevard and Kettle Street in Altoona before conducting separate traffic stops on both vehicles.
During the first stop, a K-9 officer alerted to the odor of a controlled substance inside an Audi sedan occupied by Hilario and driver Carmon. Both individuals were transported to the Pennsylvania State Police barracks.
A second traffic stop involving Longenecker’s Nissan Rogue also resulted in a K-9 alert for the presence of narcotics. Search warrants were later executed on both vehicles.
Investigators recovered:
- Five pounds of crystal methamphetamine, street valued at $16,000
- Six grams of heroin and fentanyl, street valued at $3,000
- Approximately 2.5 ounces of crack cocaine, valued at $7,000
- $1,893 in cash, a digital scale and additional drug-packaging materials
The investigation was conducted with assistance from the Pennsylvania State Police, Tyrone Police Department, Altoona Police Department, Blair County District Attorney’s Office, Blair County Drug Task Force and Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI).
Criminal charges, and any discussion thereof, are merely allegations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
