HARRISBURG — Attorney General Dave Sunday announced that a Wayne County man has been sentenced to 20 to 40 years in prison for sexually assaulting a child.
Brian Fisherman, 38, pleaded guilty to involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child and sentenced Thursday in Wayne County Court. The sentencing judge deemed Fisherman a sexually violent predator.
“This convicted predator will spend many years in prison where he will have no opportunities to harm another child,” Attorney General Sunday said. “This outcome was possible because of the brave survivor who came forward and the tireless work and commitment of our team.”
According to the investigation by the Office of Attorney General, Fisherman came into the victim’s bedroom at least two times to sexually assault the child when they were between ages three and six.
This case was prosecuted by Deputy Attorney General Rachael Coleman.
