Former Bradford District Attorney Sentenced to 1.5 to 5 Years in State Prison

Attorney General Josh Shapiro has today issued a statement in response to the sentencing of Chad Salsman, former Bradford County District Attorney. Salsman has been sentenced to 1.5 to 5 years in prison, followed by 72 months of state supervision.

Statement by Attorney General Josh Shapiro On Judge’s Order For Graham Spanier To Begin Serving Prison Sentence

HARRISBURG — Graham Spanier, a former Penn State President who was previously found guilty of misdemeanor child endangerment over his handling of a 2001 complaint regarding Jerry Sandusky’s sexual abuse of a boy in the football team’s locker room, was ordered today by Judge John Boccabella, visiting senior judge from Berks County, to begin serving his sentence on July 9, 2021.
