HARRISBURG — At the Sara Lindemuth/Anna Carter Primary School in Harrisburg today, Attorney General Josh Shapiro announced a partnership with Sandy Hook Promise to roll out and operate the Safe2Say Something Anonymous Reporting System for every school across the Commonwealth. The new school-safety reporting system will enable students, teachers, school administrators and others to learn how to detect and report potential threats of violence and other problems before they occur.

AG Shapiro Stops New Jersey Wholesaler from Price Gouging, Gets Money Back for Pennsylvania Consumers

HARRISBURG―Attorney General Josh Shapiro today announced that the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General has entered into an Assurance of Voluntary Compliance (AVC) with Sun Wholesale, Inc., a New Jersey wholesaler, after receiving tips that the supplier was selling hand sanitizer to Pennsylvania businesses for resale to consumers for unlawful prices. OAG’s investigation found Sun Wholesale sold 389 units of “Wish” hand sanitizer for $17.00 per 33.8 oz. bottle.

Acting Attorney General Henry Obtains Settlement with Eagle Disposal for Thousands of Missed Trash and Recycling Collections

HARRISBURG – Acting Attorney General Michelle Henry announced that the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General has entered into a settlement agreement with Eagle Disposal of PA, Inc., for alleged violations of Pennsylvania’s Unfair Trade Practice and Consumer Protection Law. Eagle Disposal is a waste management company that offers both commercial and residential services including garbage and recycling collection. According to the investigation, in 2021 Eagle failed to collect trash and/or recycling from over 1,800 residential subscription customers for multiple weeks at a time.
