Dr. Janene Holter joined the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General in 1999. Prior to working in Office of Public Engagement, she worked with the Bureau of Narcotics investigation and Drug Control as an Undercover Narcotics Agent, and a Supervisory Narcotics Agent. Dr. Holter has an extensive background in drug and alcohol issues as well as mental health and elderly issues. She was previously employed as an Intensive Drug and Alcohol Probation/Parole Officer with Carbon County Adult Probation/Parole Office, a Caseworker with Kids Peace National Hospital for Kids in Crisis, and a Drug and Alcohol Case Manager for Carbon-Monroe-Pike Drug and Alcohol Commission. Dr. Holter received her Doctorate of Philosophy in Leadership from Alvernia University, a Masters of Public Administration with a concentration in Criminal Justice Degree from Marywood University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Alvernia University.
