Wayne County man faces environmental charges

HARRISBURG - Attorney General Kathleen Kane announced today a Wayne County man has been arrested and charged with diverting raw sewage directly into a stream. William E. Neville, 85, owner of the Neville Trailer Park located at 377 Neville Road, Moscow, PA, faces three charges.

The Attorney General's Environmental Crimes Section conducted a criminal investigation based on a referral by the Wayne County District Attorney.

Investigators say Neville Trailer Park was discharging untreated sewage into a tributary of Wilcox Creek.  The Neville Trailer Park has been owned by William Neville since 1981.

Neville faces the following counts:

  • Unlawful conduct, Clean Streams Law 
  • Prohibition against other pollution
  • Pollution of waters

    The charges were filed in Hawley, Pennsylvania, before Magisterial District Judge Bonnie Carney. A person charged with a crime is innocent until proven guilty.
