Investigators believe that over the past eight months Miller and his associates are responsible for trafficking at least 20 kilos of cocaine with an estimated street value of $2 million, and at least 200 pounds of marijuana with an estimated street value of $600,000.

According to the criminal complaint, one of Miller's main associates was identified as Ramon Colon, an employee at the Master Barbershop in Wilkes-Barre. Colon allegedly utilized the barbershop as a hub for much of the organization's cocaine and marijuana trafficking operations.

The charges state that lower level dealers contacted Colon to set up a drug transaction by asking if they could come to the barbershop for a "shape up."

As the investigation unfolded, court authorized wire taps were approved in April 2013 to determine the scope of the organization and help identify additional suppliers.  Between April and June 2013, agents and members of the Luzerne County Drug Task Force intercepted hundreds of calls between Miller, Colon and their associates.

Agents executed a series of search warrants and seized 11 vehicles, one motorcycle, five handguns, three rifles, three large screen televisions, a surveillance system, a homemade silencer for a rifle, cocaine, marijuana, and cash. Additionally, a search at 6 Coplay St., Mountaintop resulted in the seizure of electrical, lighting and marijuana cultivating equipment.

Kane thanked Luzerne County District Attorney Stefanie J. Salavantis and her office, the Luzerne County Drug Task Force, the Kingston Police Department, the Nanticoke Police Department, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Scranton, and the Department of Homeland Security for their assistance with the investigation.

The case will be prosecuted in Luzerne County by Deputy Attorney General Timothy Doherty of the Attorney General's Drug Strike Force Section.
