Woman arrested, accused of distributing child porn from her work computer

HARRISBURG - Attorney General Kathleen G. Kane announced today the arrest of an Allegheny County woman by the Child Predator Section. Sabrina Clark, 43, 286 Elliott Road, Monroeville, allegedly downloaded and distributed child pornography on her work computer.

"Thanks to agents from our Child Predator Section, more children are safe as a result of this arrest," Kane said. 6-6-13 Clark

According to the criminal complaint, Clark downloaded and distributed pornographic movies from her work computer at the Comet News building, 540 Braddock Ave., Braddock.

"Anyone who downloads or distributes child pornography is creating a demand that supports this heinous industry.  If you contribute to the exploitation of children in any way, we will find you, arrest you, and see that you are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law."

Agents executed a search at the Braddock Avenue building and seized a thumb drive from Clark's purse, which they say also contained child pornography.

Kane thanked the Pittsburgh City Police, the Braddock Police Department, and the Monroeville Police Department for their assistance with the investigation.

Clark is charged with eight counts of possession of child pornography, four counts of distribution of child pornography, and one count of illegal use of a communication facility.

Clark was preliminarily arraigned in Allegheny County night court on June 5, 2013, and held in the Allegheny County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 18th before Turtle Creek Magisterial District Judge Scott Schricker.

The case will be prosecuted in Allegheny County by Deputy Attorney General Anthony Marmo of the Attorney General's Child Predator Section.

(A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent until proven guilty.)
