Attorney General Tom Corbett announces arrest of an East Stroudsburg man for alleged cocaine and marijuana trafficking

DurhamHARRISBURG - Attorney General agents arrested an East Stroudsburg man in connection with a two-month cocaine and marijuana trafficking investigation in Pike and Monroe Counties.

Attorney General Tom Corbett said that Dwayne Durham, 36, 131 Prospect Street, 2nd floor, East Stroudsburg, is charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver and two counts of possession.

Corbett said that agents executed three search warrants in connection with the investigation and seized 84 grams of cocaine, 16 pounds of marijuana, one handgun, two vehicles and about $30,000.

Agents also recovered numerous items of cocaine packaging material including scales, baggies, grinders, cutting agents, and a press used to prepare cocaine for distribution.

Corbett said that this is part of a continuing investigation and more charges and arrests are expected.

Durham is currently being held in lieu of $150,000 straight bail. 

Corbett thanked the Pike County District Attorney's Office for their assistance in the investigation.
