AG Corbett announces arrests in Operation Family Cook-Out

Oldest Meth lab operation in NW PA shut-down

29 suspects linked to the oldest known meth lab operation in Northwestern Pennsylvania. The investigation, known as "Operation Family Cook-Out," focused on two brothers -- James and Ronald Frey - who are believed to have operated meth labs in the Erie area since the mid-1990's.

Contractors ordered to pay $273,000 in consumer protection settlements; several closed permanently

Consumers across Pennsylvania will receive a total of $273,000 in refunds as the result of recent legal action by the Attorney General's Bureau of Consumer Protection against home improvement contractors accused of incomplete and sub-standard work, illegal contract terms and violations of the Do Not Call law.

Consumer protection lawsuit filed against owners of Allentown foreign exchange student business

Attorney General Tom Corbett has filed a civil lawsuit against an Allentown couple accused of diverting in excess of $100,000 from their international "foreign exchange student" business - leaving more than 50 visiting students and their U.S. host families with empty promises and disappointment.
