Truth & Choices: Drugs & Alcohol Abuse

This program introduces middle and high school students to Shane. A popular kid from a suburban Pennsylvania school, Shane shares this true story of hard choices and near death experiences due to drugs and alcohol. The presentation features interviews with Shane (from prison), his family, law enforcement and the medical community. It's a reality check for all students and will open a unique dialogue about the realities of substance abuse. There is a program available for students and another one available for parents.

Drug-Free Calendar Contest
For elementary schools, the OAG features an annual drug-free poster contest for fifth-graders. The winning artwork is used to produce a calendar, with the grand prize winner's drawing on the cover. Those calendars are distributed to schools and community groups across the state.
