Attorney General Kane announces arrest of Franklin County man for child sexual abuse, manufacturing child pornography

HARRISBURG - Agents from the Attorney General's Child Predator Unit have arrested a Franklin County man for alleged sexual abuse and manufacturing child pornography, among other charges. 

Attorney General Kathleen G. Kane identified the defendant as Glenn Jason Wileman, 28, 136 Mont Alto Road, Apt. 4, Fayetteville, Franklin County. Wileman was taken into custody on Weday, Aug.  21, 2013 and charged with one count of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, one count of aggravated indecent assault, one count of indecent assault, two counts of manufacturing child pornography, 15 counts of possessing child pornography, two counts of distributing child pornography and one count of criminal use of a communication facility.

Agents conducting an online investigation found numerous online files that contained depictions of children under the age of 18 engaged in sexually graphic acts and poses. Several of the images depicted children as young as 5 engaged in sexual activity.

According to the criminal complaint, five videos and four images were recovered from Wileman's cell phone that depicted the defendant engaged in sexual activity with a child.

Wileman was preliminarily arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Kelly Rock and bail was set at $750,000. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for August 27.

Kane thanked the Cumberland County District Attorney's Office for their assistance with the investigation.

The case will be prosecuted in Franklin County by Deputy Attorney General Christopher J. Jones of the Attorney General's Child Predator Section.
